PetAasha is a pet-care platform built around a problem that costs animals their lives every week: in an emergency, there's no fast, reliable way to find a blood donor for a dog or cat. Blood Connect is our first service, tackling that head-on.
Unlike people, pets in Mumbai have no blood banks. Blood can't be stored — it has to be found fresh, within a day or two, from a healthy animal nearby. Today that means frantic WhatsApp messages and calling the same handful of known donors until someone can come in. It's slow, it's stressful, and too often it's too late.
We connect pet owners whose animals may be eligible to donate with verified veterinary clinics who need blood for a patient. Owners register their pet in a few minutes. Clinics search for a nearby match and reach out directly. No storage, no delay — just the right people, connected fast.
We're starting deliberately small — one city, a trusted clinic network, real feedback — because a donor list is only useful if the people on it actually respond. That means never spamming donors, being honest about what we do and don't do, and putting animal welfare first at every step.
PetAasha is built by a small team, guided by Dr. Shreya Pandey, a practising Mumbai veterinary oncologist.
