Terms of Service — PetAasha Blood Connect

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using PetAasha Blood Connect ("PetAasha", "the platform"), operated by Adarsh Dubey and Shreyash Pandey (the "operators", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What PetAasha is — and is not

PetAasha is an introduction and matching service. It helps pet owners register their pets as potential blood donors and helps verified veterinary clinics find and contact potential donors for animals needing emergency transfusions.

PetAasha is not a veterinary provider, a medical service, or a blood bank. We do not:

  • provide veterinary or medical advice
  • perform, supervise, or arrange the actual blood donation or transfusion
  • test, type, or verify the blood compatibility, health, or suitability of any animal
  • guarantee that a donor is available, eligible, healthy, or a compatible match

All medical decisions, blood typing, compatibility testing, and the donation procedure itself are the sole responsibility of the treating veterinarian and qualified professionals, exercising their own independent judgement. The eligibility indicators shown on the platform are a convenience filter only and are not a medical assessment.

3. Eligibility to use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use PetAasha. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. Registering a pet you do not own or have authority over, or a clinic you are not authorised to represent, is prohibited.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Notify us at contact@petaasha.in if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (Section 10).

5. Veterinary clinic verification

Clinic accounts are reviewed and marked as "verified" before they can search for donors or access owner contact details. Verification is an administrative check, not a guarantee. We do not warrant the credentials, competence, conduct, or legitimacy of any clinic or individual, and verification does not make PetAasha responsible for a clinic's actions.

6. Contact information and its use

When an owner registers, they consent to verified clinics being able to view their contact details, on request, to arrange emergency blood donation (see the Privacy Policy). Clinics may use owner contact details only for the purpose of arranging blood donation. Using contact details for marketing, harassment, resale, or any other purpose is a violation of these terms and may be unlawful.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including impersonating a clinic)
  • use the platform for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose
  • attempt to access data you are not authorised to access
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the platform
  • interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation or security

8. No guarantee of outcome

PetAasha does not guarantee that any registration will result in a match, that a donor will be found, that a donation will occur, or that any donation will be successful or safe. You use the platform, and contact other users, at your own risk. Any interaction, arrangement, or transaction between an owner and a clinic is solely between them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of PetAasha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or harm — including injury to, illness of, or death of any animal, or any dispute between users — arising out of or relating to your use of the platform, the acts or omissions of any clinic or owner, or any blood donation or transfusion arranged through the platform. PetAasha is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms, misuse the platform, or where necessary to protect users or the platform. You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of PetAasha from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
